Fax Pay: One Charge, Full Transparency

“Fax pay” usually means hunting for a kiosk. With NeedToFax, the payment happens online, is capped at $1 per ten pages, and comes with instant proof.

How the payment flow works

Once you upload a document, we estimate the page count and display the exact charge. Stripe Elements handles the card fields, so NeedToFax never touches card data. You see the total, confirm, and receive a timestamped receipt the moment the carrier accepts the job.

Because every job is tied to a job ID, you can pass audit requests to finance or clients without digging through bank statements.

Steps to complete a fax payment

  1. Enter the recipient fax number and optional cover note on needtofax.com.
  2. Upload the file and confirm the page estimate. Charges are $1 for up to ten pages, $2 for up to twenty, and so on.
  3. Provide the cardholder name, approve the Stripe payment, and watch the confirmation screen for job status updates.

Best practices for expense reports

  • Use the tag fields to mark cost centers or matter numbers.
  • Download the confirmation modal as a PDF; it shows card last-four digits and total billed.
  • Batch multiple related documents to keep charges low and traceable.
